SPARK Earns National Telly Award for FNB TV Spot
Neenah, WI (May 6, 2011) — SPARK is thrilled to receive national recognition with a Bronze Telly Award for a First National Bank-Fox Valley TV commercial. The 30-second spot launched the bank’s new branding campaign, “Life is full of surprises. Your bank shouldn’t be”. SPARK directed all creative development and production for the spot, which aired in Fall 2010 and will continue to run in 2011. For over a quarter century, the Telly Awards have been honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, web commercials, videos, and films.

The First National Bank-Fox Valley TV spot takes a lighthearted approach by highlighting the bank’s ability to help customers find financial solutions when life’s little surprises occur. The commercial featured photos and supporting artwork of three scenarios depicting life’s familiar events—having a baby, saving for college, and opening a small business—but each with an unexpected “surprise”, such as having triplets. Each scene was connected with an animated version of the bank’s signature multi-green swoosh, which represented the “Road of Life”.
Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. A judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged entries in over 200 categories.
